Well a lot of things had happened since. My son’s first birthday was a success. His theme was mickey mouse and there were a lot of people who came to celebrate it with us. He was also able to read letters and words at the age of 15 months.

We built a house on Feb 2010 and moved in on June 2010. The house is a 5 bedroom 2 1/2 baths on a 2 storey level. It is situated on a very nice community called Creekstone. Anyway, My sisters and brother came to United states on Dec 2010 and it has been a blessing that they are finally able to get their visas and able to join us here in the US.

Jameson turned 2 years old last January 2011 and another big party for him. This time his theme is spongebob squrepants character which I’m not really a fan but my son is crazy about him.
But after receiving couple CAT trucks and tracktors on his birthday his interest quickly changed and now his fascination is set on trucks and cars. crazy little 2 years old indeed!

Well it was a quick update but it pretty much sums it up. Here is the latest picture taken during my son’s 2nd birthday party.

Anyway a quick update here. So, we are back here in united states after nearly 7 months of living in the Philippines. Jameson is growing so fast rigth before our eyes and I just could not believe that he is able to walk by himself now. He will be 1 year old in 2 months and I am busy planning his big birthday bash! I cant wait for that time.

Anyway, I have changed the look of our blog heading a little bit. The picture I used were taken both professionally in the philippines and here in Washington last month. I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday coming up soon. Dont forget to be thankful on everything you have recieved this year!.. Happy Thanksgiving all!

So, let me just give you a little play by play on
what happened during the day I delivered Jameson.

It was January 21st when we initially went to the hospital
but we got sent home since I was not having any labor
pains. The doctor told us to come back the next morning
so we could extract the baby by means of induction ( to
fake the labor )

On January 22nd we returned to the hospital early morning
and the put me right into the high risk pregnancy unit. We had pre-requested that
we be put into the HRP because care is so much better and it is much more
comfortable for the patient.

We waited for me to have labor pains but none came.
At around 2 pm I started to have some minor cramping
and doctor told me that it was the actual labor we had been
waiting for.

At 4 pm the pain got worse but I was not far along enough for me to
deliver the baby. I was only at 3 CM by then. it was 5 pm when
the pain became real and my OB decided it was time for
me to get an epidural shot. They moved me from one bed to
another and brought me in to the surgery room, they flipped me
like a pancake and stuck the needle right into my spine
like it was just nothing.

By this time I was so out of it that I didn’t know what was going on. Everything
from that point was blurry to me. I have bits and pieces of memory but not the
whole thing really. My husband told me that the baby’s heart
rate got dangerously low so my OB decided that it was
time for me to go under CS surgery to avoid the risk of losing the baby.

Cory decided that he needed to give me a priesthood blessing so he asked the doctors
and nurses to leave the room. They didn’t want to so he kicked them out and told them
that he would only be a minute. They told him to hurry so he shut the door and gave me the blessing.
Shortly after, I went into surgury. 45 minutes later little Jameson was born.

I woke up on January 23rd and wondered what had happened. Cory filled me in
on the story. I first saw my Baby Jameson at around 10:00 am when the nurses took
him in to my private room to room in with me for the next 5 days that we were at the hopsital
recoperating from surgery.

Now, Jameson is home and we are enjoying every minute of it.

Anyway , 27 more days until I can finally hold my little bundle of joy!.  I am very excited and cant wait to hold him close to me. Cory and I are busy preparing last minute preparation for our baby’s coming.  We have the name picked out finally and the outfit he will be wearing at the hospital once he is all nice and clean.  Currently I am watching my carb intake because the baby is growing so fast.  The Doctor is worried that I might have to give birth by way of cesarean due to the size of the baby.  I sure hope not…

Just a quick side note here about hubby. He made this awesome video of  him singing this wonderful music originally performed by Martin Nievera- Kahit isang saglit. Boy, sorry if it took me  over a month before I was able to post a new updates here. Things has been crazy around here and I just can’t keep up with my blogging… First though I am so thankful to our Heavenly Father for our safe travel in spite of my condition. I am so thankful that everything went well as planned.

So, what have we been doing for this past month since the last time I posted?  Well, Cory took an extended leave from work. He was a little burned out so we decided to take a LOOOOng vacation. We are currently residing in the Island of the Philippines! We left  San Francisco, California last Oct 15th and took a little detour in Hong Kong for couple of days.  We had a great time over there although it rained most of the time we were there.  We enjoyed our tour at the Victoria Peak ( one of the most pupulalar tourist spots in Hong Kong.)  Also, we went to the famous Ladies Market by Nathan Steet in Kowloon  and did some sight seeing along the way.  Hong Kong is very much like Philippines living except that they speak Cantonese.  

Anyway I haven’t had the chance to  upload our photos yet but I will do that pretty soon so you guys can kind of see how big my tummy is… Speaking of my tummy, well, it sure is creating a big fuss over here!.  I went to  St. Lukes Medical Center to find me a new primary care physician  and boy was she surprised how big my baby boy will be!  She couldnt believe that I am only 7 months along the way!    So, The baby is healthy and strong.  His kick is getting stronger each day and I am very excited to see him face to face in less than  2 months..

Last night my sister drew a big apple on my buldging stomach and it was very cute,  I was going post it here but for the life of me I couldn’t find my USB so I could not transfer the pictures from my digital camera to the laptop…  I guess I will have to wait for that as well..  Anyway, Philippines is very hot right now, inspite of being close to December which I thought would be a lot cooler Our air conditioner is running its motor 24 hours to keep us cool when we are inside the house.  I sure hope that the temperature would soon change a little bit so that we could enjoy the outside more.

Okey guys, I guess thats all for now…  I will soon post the painting my sister worked hard on to showcase my enormous pregnant belly!

Miss you!

Most recently, I took a lay-off from my job with plans of taking an extended vacation.  I had been working as a Safety Engineer for ARB at a Power Plant on my most recent job.  Work is quite plentiful and I enjoy the kind of work that I do.   Even though times are good at work, we have been working so many hours this past year that we decided to take a break for a bit.  Part of the reason was because of the upcoming birth of our very first child.

Minnie is as big as a watermelon and continuing to grow.  She gets more beautiful by the day and I cannot wait for the baby to arrive.  Lately we have tried putting speakers to her tummy while playing soothing music, and it seems like each time we do this, the little baby gives us a few kicks.  It is a joy to the both of us to experience this time.  I’m sure each of you who have had children can look back to when you had your first baby and remember how exciting times were for you.

As of now, we are getting ready to move overseas to the Philippines.  Minnie will be giving birth over there and we will have the opportunity to visit old friends and much of her family.  Before we go though, we have plans to stop in Hong Kong for a little sight seeing.  Neither of us have had the opportunity to visit and look forward to seeing new sites and experiencing a new culture.  We will make sure to make additional posts and update you all as time progresses.

This is the follow up on my last entry about us going to see a doctor for my ultra sound so we can find out what will the gender of our baby be.. So it is official.. we are having a baby boy! Cory is very excited.. he already have plans on becoming a little league baseball coach, or a little league football coach.. I just hope that the baby would become sports fanatic just like his father or it’ll be a big issue.

As far as names, we havent come to an agreement yet.. I am hoping to come up with the perfect name we are going to like both before baby gets here. LOL.

So, our big plan is for me to give birth back in PI.  We decided to take a couple months off from work and just focus on becoming a parent. We are set to fly back to PI on October.  I will update you soon as I am have more info..
